Getting to Aéroport régional de Mont-Joli

Airline Services

  • Located in the flight service station, NAV Canada provides flight information and radio communications services
  • Airport facility maintenance seven days a week ( days and hours could change, check CFS)
  • Airport can be opened 24 hours a day upon request or in case of emergency
  • De-icing (I and IV) service provided by AvJet
  • Baggage service provided by AvJet/Transol
  • Fuel service available 24 hours a day, provided by AvJet (normals operating hours without additional fees in the CFS)
  • 100LL fuel
  • Jet fuel refuelling available on site
  • Potable water service, electrical outlets for aircraft and aircraft picketing facilities
  • X-ray baggage inspection for flights with connections in controlled airports, provided by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA)
  • Terminal access: (hours availables in the CFS)
  • Access to the terminal for the pilots’ lounge, bathrooms and break room
  • Advantageous fee structure for private piston aircraft under 3,000 kg: no landing fees or terminal fees are required for these aircraft
  • Emergency services provided by the city of Mont-Joli, which has an aircraft rescue fire-fighting vehicle (foam truck), allowing Aéroport régional de Mont-Joli (YYY) to be designated an alternate airport
